Emmanuel leads Mechanicode, a cloud digital services firm, as CEO, driving innovation and excellence across our DevSecOps, cloud native engineering and AI automation offerings.
With 16 years in the field, Emmanuel is an AWS and Azure certified DevOps specialist. His expertise lies in crafting automation solutions that blend DevSecOps and Site Reliability Engineering principles, giving clients efficient and secure digital environments. His zeal for automation comes from a deep commitment to improving the developer experience and streamlining workflows.
His career spans the public and private sectors. He served as a United States Digital Service engineer during the COVID-19 pandemic, contributing to critical national efforts, and has led modernization initiatives in the private sector. Throughout, he has championed Agile methodologies, scalable cloud architectures, and continuous integration and deployment standards.
Emmanuel authored the Site Reliability Engineer Nanodegree on Udacity, and contributed to the secrets management chapter of O'Reilly's 97 Things Every Cloud Engineer Should Know.
Emmanuel is the co-founder of the Black Code Collective, a platform fostering diversity and inclusion in the tech industry. His contributions to the field were recognized with the Technical.ly DC 2019 RealLIST Engineer award.
